Lazy K Ranch Bed and Breakfast

The Lazy K Ranch was established in 1993 and has been going strong ever since. The ten acre estate is fully wooded and on top of a hill offering stupendous views. The main house is 3600 square feet and offers two guest rooms and two public rooms. The common room offers a fun time of gaming or TV with a pool table, foosball table, darts, and a large TV with a DVD and VCR. There's a small refrigerator filled with complimentary soft drinks and water, a microwave for those late night snacks and a coffeemaker. The parlor upstairs is the place for a quiet game of chess or cards. The rose quartz fireplace makes it a cozy place to curl up with a book. The main house also has two elevated decks, one covered deck, a beautiful flagstone patio and the gazebo surrounded by a garden. Guests can often be found on the patio reading a book watching the birds take a drink at the fountain or in the gazebo surrounded by flowers and hummingbirds. The decks offer outstanding views of the stars and New Mexico's own brand of fireworks, lightning storms. There's so much to do you may never want to leave. But you must, because there is so much to see in the Land of Enchantment that you'll need to come back again and again to get it all in.

The cabin was built in 2006 and Lisa designed it especially for her guests. The two bedrooms each have their own bath. The Mountain King room with a double jacuzzi and the Pinecone with a single jacuzzi. The fully equipped kitchen is great for that late night snack or a romantic gourmet meal. The refrigerator can be stocked with supplies for an expanded continental breakfast or you can walk across to the main house for one of Lisa's special full breakfasts. Both rooms have TV's and CD players and the living room has a wood burning stone fireplace. The BBQ is on the back deck and the covered porch is the perfect place for morning coffee or relaxing in the rocking chairs at day's end. This is the perfect get-away for a romantic weekend, girls night out, or a reunion. 

Your hosts, Andy and Lisa welcome you to the Lazy K Ranch. Our goal is to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.  The good times, lovely views, great food, friendly service, and good old fashioned hospitality will insure that. And if it doesn't the dogs will give you all the extra attention you want. We love meeting people and  sharing our love for New Mexico.

Lisa and Andy love to travel and try to get to Europe or Hawaii every year. They always stay in Bed and Breakfasts to learn more about the area and meet the local people and other guests. That's what's best about B&B's, you can find out all the best local sights and places. That's why there's a Lazy K Ranch. They love the B&B experience so much they wanted to share it with others!

Andy is an aeronautical engineer, yes that's right. a rocket scientist! He travels a lot on business and that's one of the reasons Lisa started the B&B. It can get awlful lonely up here on the hill. He's starting to think about retirement and is getting his feet wet with the B&B. He's still in training, but coming along nicely. He can even cook! He's a lot of help to Lisa and lends his hiking, biking, and skiing experience  to the guests.

Here's Lisa and Andy at the End of Trail SASS Ball. SASS, Single Action Shooting Society, has recently moved their headquarters to Edgewood. The Lazy K Ranch is only two miles from Founders Ranch where SASS holds shooting competitions throughout the year. The competitors dress in authentic cowboy gear and shoot single action guns. It's a great time! Although Andy and Lisa don't shoot they always dress up for the ball and attend the competitions in support of their guests, many of whom have become fast friends and return every year.

Lisa calls herself a jack of all trades and master of none. She's built houses, remodeled and flipped houses, and developed subdivisions. But she has definitely mastered the art of the B&B. Warm and friendly she will welcome you to her home and enthusiasticlly share her little piece of the Land of Enchantment. Being from the South she cooks southern with a New Mexican flare. No one ever goes away hungry! Check out the menu and pick your favorite for breakfast. You might have to stay longer just to sample everything.
